Phillip B. Smith, age 54, of 104 Young Drive, died Monday, March 7, 2005, at his home. He was born in Clinton, and was a son of Ruth Sparks Smith of Clinton and the late Donald Brooks (D.B.) Smith. He was an independent property manager, a member of the Campbell Masonic Lodge #44, a life-time member of the Shriners, and was a member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son and his wife, Robert Brooks and Susie Smith of Clinton. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 10, 2005, at 2 p.m. in Broad Street United Methodist Church, with burial in Rosemont Cemetery with Masonic Rites. The family will be with his mother at Bailey Manor in Clinton. Gray Funeral Home is serving the family.
