Pearl Evelyn Topping (nee Davis) of Belleville, and formerly of Montreal and Athens, in her eighty-seventh year. Daughter of the late John Davis and Evelyn Kennedy. Loving wife of the late Hugh C. Topping. Dear mother of James (Jim) Topping and his wife Evelyn of Belleville. Ever-loved grandmother to James Topping of Hamilton and Michael at home. Sister of Marjorie McKeene and husband Don of Ottawa and Lena Bradshaw and husband Bill of Lachute. Mrs. Topping is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as by sister-in-law Bernice Davis of Montreal. Pre-deceased by brother Robert and Charles and his wife Reuith. Friends are invited to call at the Belleville Funeral Home & Chapel, 68 N. Front Street Belleville, on Monday, June 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 24 at 2 p.m. Rev. Peter Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in Rideau Gardens in Montreal at a later time.
