->Crumb, Paul Franklin, IIBrooktondale: Paul Franklin Crumb II, age 59, of Brooktondale, NY, died peacefully March 22, 2012 at Cayuga Medical Center. Paul was born May 21, 1952 in Ithaca, NY. He is the son of Paul and Eunice (Hotelling) Crumb. He was a 1970 graduate of Ithaca High School. Paul served in the Navy from 1971 -1975. He married Linda Conklin in 1974 and together they raised two sons, Andrew Michael and Jamie Richard. He worked at various positions at Cornell University, Eastern Artificial Breeders, and briefly for Acme Pest Control. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved nature and the beauty it provided. He captured this beauty in many of his paintings and drawings. He also was an avid reader and trialed many different hobbies, including growing orchids and other exotic plants, gardening, raising chickens, turkeys, and other animals, as well as stone carving. Mr. Crumb is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Andrew and wife (Tammy) and Jamie of Brooktondale. He also leaves behind 5 beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Mara, Gabriel, Trenton, and Kaylee. He is survived by both parents, Paul Sr. and Eunice Crumb; mother-in-law, Kay Conklin of Ocala FL; two sisters, Sandra Holmes of Fredonia, NY, Barbara and (Edward) Edeker of Evergreen, AL, and Russell Crumb of Ocala, FL; brothers-in-law, Mark and his wife Michelle Conklin of Ilion, NY and Wayne Conklin of Romulus, NY; sister-in-law, Rebecca Crumb of Ithaca, NY; daughter in law, Victoria Crumb of Caroline. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews as well as his beloved dogs, Casey and Annie. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Richard Conklin. Services will be held at 10 a.m. this Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY with Rev. Tim Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Quick Cemetery, Brooktondale, NY. Friends may call from 8-10 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
