PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Paul E. Bolduc, 88, a former Chelmsford resident and retired machinist, died yesterday morning, March 31, at the home of his daughter in Port Charlotte. He was the husband of the late Laurette B. (Hudon) Bolduc. He was born in Lowell on May 18, 1916, a son of the late Alphonse and Eva (Milette) Bolduc. Prior to his retirement, he was a machinist at the Deran Confectionery Co. of Cambridge, Mass., a division of Borden Corp.After their marriage in 1940, the Bolducs lived for 34 years in Arlington, Mass., and then 10 years in Cambridge. After relocating to St. Petersburg, they returned to Greater Lowell in 2003. Mr. Bolduc had lived at the Summer Place Residence in Chelmsford before his recent move to Port Charlotte.Mr. Bolduc had been a communicant of the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Church in Lowell. He is survived by two sons, Richard J. Bolduc and his wife Sandra of Venice, Fla., Roger G. Bolduc of Dracut; two daughters, Priscilla M. Booth and her husband David of Chelmsford, Elaine D. Paula and her husband Joseph of Port Charlotte. He also leaves eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.He was also the brother of the late Real J. Bolduc.
