O'KEEFE, Patrick Joseph WWII Veteran Peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2003 in his 78th year. Patrick, son of John Joseph O'Keefe of Ottawa and Noellie Desjardins of Allumette Island. Loving husband for 46 years of the late Doris Doyle. Beloved father of John Joseph (Carmela Muoio) and Patricia Ann. Doting grandfather of Alycia and Daniel Patrick. Predeceased by brothers Francis, Michael, Kevin and sister Catherine. Survived by sisters Marie (Carisse) and Elizabeth and brother Paul. Pat joined the Canadian Navy at age 17 and was present at D-Day. He was employed at the Forest Products Laboratory for 32 years. Pat loved books, nature, children and animals. He was always laughing and joking and will be sadly missed by friends and family. Funeral Service at St. Bernard's Church in Fournier on Saturday, June 21, 2003 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
