PATRICIA J. (KOSANKE) BROWN PALATINE, IL Patricia J. (Kosanke) Brown passed away Friday, February 24, 2012. She was born July 8, 1931 in Streator, IL and was raised in Hammond, IN graduating from Hammond High School Class of 1949. While residing in Hammond she was active with the Hammond Woman's Club (2nd Vice President,) VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 802 and was a former Board Member for Woodmar Boys Baseball. She had been employed by the Boy Scouts of America- Calumet Council, retired from Mercantile National Bank of Indiana and was the switchboard receptionist for the Lake County Court House in Hammond. Pat is survived by her two sons: Scott Brown and Kurt (Tammy) Brown; grandsons: Chris Brown and Eric (Kara) Brown; one great granddaughter, Lillian Hope; brother, Richard (Joan) Kosanke and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents Olive and Alfred Kosanke. Funeral arrangements were private.
