DAVIS, Patricia Edith Retired from Citizenship & Immigration Canada Past President of CWL Peacefully, at the Ottawa General Hospital, on July 22, 2008, at the age of 76. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Kathleen (Marriott) and is survived by her aunts Mrs. Marion Nevins and Mrs. Eleanor Davis. Will be fondly remembered by numerous cousins and many dear friends. For years Pat was actively involved in many worthwhile organizations such as the Kiwanis, the Optimist Club and the CWL. She knew the joy of giving. In her latter years she opened and managed "Tuck Shops" in her residences, using the proceeds to organize Christmas parties for the staff and their families. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road, at Aviation Parkway, Friday, July 25, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Martyr Church, 518 Donald Street, Ottawa, Saturday, July 26 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
