Patricia "Trisha" Whittaker, 52, of Rogersville, Mo., passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006. Trisha will be missed greatly by her loving family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and grandmother. Her bright smile and caring ways will truly be missed. She is survived by her husband, Scott Whittaker; daughters, Bridgett Whittaker and Tessa Beaver; four grandchildren, Jared, Brenden, Michael and Riley; parents, Jackie and Carl Schmidt, Carol and Richard Slankard; two sisters, Nanci and Janet; and three brothers, Rick, Jeff and Denis; mother-in-law, Charlene Whittaker; brothers-in-law, Greg, Ron and David; sisters-in-law, Angie, Starla and Leslye; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; father-in-law, Melvin Whittaker; brother, Gary Slankard; uncle, Johnny Caswell; and nephew, Matt Whittaker. Trisha graduated from Parkview High School Class of 1973. She married her high school sweetheart, Scott Whittaker. Through 34 years of marriage, they never spent time apart and enjoyed a true love relationship. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, Mo. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, November 21, 2006, at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 W. Battlefield, Springfield, Mo.
