Patricia Ann (Rafferty) Ryan Lifelong resident of Lowell, MA LOWELL, MA -- Mrs. Patricia Ann (Rafferty) Ryan, a fifty year resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, MA died Monday morning, June 27, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.She was happily married to Mr. Thomas F. Ryan with whom she would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on November 9, 2011.Born in Lowell, MA on July 9, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Clark) Rafferty. Patricia was raised in Lowell and attended Lowell Public Schools, she was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1952.She was employed in her early years as a Home Health Aide for Eldercare in the greater Lowell area.Patricia was a devoted communicant of St. Marguerite's Church in Dracut.She enjoyed winters in Dunedin, Florida with her husband, she loved shopping for others, but was happiest spending quality time with family and friends, especially her seven cherished grandchildren.Besides her loving husband, Tom, she is survived by two sons and their wives, Thomas and Denise Ryan of Windham, NH, Sean and Christine Ryan of Lowell, two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Riley of Lowell, Maggie and Bob Allard of Tyngsborough, a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Francine Rafferty of Lowell, a sister, Marjorie Rafferty of Tyngsborough, a sister-in-law, Ellie Rafferty of Lowell, seven grandchildren, Kevin Riley and his fiancé, Karine Batista, Kerry Espinola and her husband, Frank, Kaleigh, Sean, and Shannon Ryan, Billy and Haley Allard, one great-grandson, Logan Espinola, several close in-laws, many nieces, nephews and close friends. A special Thank You to Maureen Daly, Mary Suprenant and Christine Ryan.She was the mother-in-law of the late Thomas Riley of Lowell who passed in October of 1987, sister of the late Robert Rafferty of Tyngsborough and Gerald Rafferty of Lowell.RYAN -- Patricia Ann (Rafferty) Ryan, lifelong resident of Lowell, MA died peacefully June 27, 2011. Visiting hours Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral Friday at 8 a.m. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. at St. Marguerite Church on Lakeview Ave in Dracut.
