Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Patricia Ann Evans, 65, Attalla, who died Friday, June 27, 2008. Gary Baswell will officiate. Burial in Deerman's Chapel Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory is directing.Mrs. Evans was a member of the North Gadsden FCM Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Giles and Nellie Hammett; daughter, Cathy Evans; and grandson, Joshua Evans.She is survived by her husband, Charles Evans, Attalla; daughter, Debra (Terry) Gulledge, Jacksonville; sons, Chuck (Yuko) Evans, Japan, Michael (Jennifer) Evans, Southside, and Mark (Cindy) Evans, Attalla; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Mildred McDaniel, Attalla; brothers, Jimmy (Teresa) Hammett, Gadsden, and Donny (Deborah) Hammett, Trussville; and special nieces, Vicki Smith, Teresa Gibson and Angie Williams.Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons.Special thanks to Lou and Harold Bates and to the nurses and staff of the seventh floor south and ninth floor ICU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center and to Dr. H.
