March 21, 1923 - May 3, 2013Survived by his wife of 62 years, Doreen; children, Heather (Shaun), Dawn, Darcy (Kathy); and grandchildren, Stuart, Lesley, Calla, Lawrence, Kyle, Finn, and Susan. Norman was born in Point Grey, BC. A graduate of McGill University (M.D.,C.M.) and the University of British Columbia (B.A., LL.B), Norman pursued a career in medicine and health administration in Sooke, Detroit, Toronto, and Victoria. For the past 35 years, Norman and Doreen have made Victoria their home.The family wishes to thank the staff of Glengarry Hospital and the Victoria Hospice, Norman's bridge companions and other friends, for their kindness and support. At Norman's request, there will be no service.
