WOOD Nancy, born June 11, 1914 in Calgary, Alberta, passed away April 9, 2004. She is survived by her husband Frank, her brother Andy Smith (Leah) whom she loved dearly and their families that lived in Port Coquitlam and Burnaby as well as nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Oak Bay Kiwanis Pavilion where she was so lovingly cared for in her last days. She was highly praised for her hobbies in painting and sculpting and shared many a good time with her art group; an important aspect of her life. The family thanks them for their love and support. After Frank's retirement from auditing from the DND, they spent many winter months in California and Arizona. By exchanging homes with friends in England and Spain, they had grand holidays plus visits with several relatives in Wales and England. Nancy was known as "the mother" of her church well loved by all, we thank them for all their love and support through all the good times and challenges. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2004 at 2:00 PM at First Memorial Funeral Chapel.
