MILTON Nancy VanAmburgh Smith of White Oak Path, died Friday, March 21, 2003 at home. Born May 17, 1943 in Albany, she was a lifelong Capital District area resident. She worked for Unlimited Potentials for a number of years and also worked for the Salvation Army. On May 16, 1964, she married her husband, George Smith. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Michael Smith and his wife Patty of Rensselaer; a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Smith; six brothers, Ronald Lindell of Altamont, Bruce Lindell of Sarasota, Fla., Warren Lindell of Colonie, John VanAmburgh Jr. of Stillwater, Roger VanAmburgh of Altamont and Dennis VanAmburgh of Albany; and three sisters, Mary Palma of Altamont, Gail Meluch of Schenectady and Marlene Behnke of Niskayuna. She was predeceased by a son, Paul W. Smith. Funeral services Monday morning at 10:00 at the Daly Funeral Home, 242 McClellan St., Schenectady. Calling hours, Monday, 9-10 a.m. Burial, Saratoga National Cemetery.
