DAVIS, MRS. SALLIE LEE SMITH age 97, of Birmingham, passed Monday, December 5, 2011. Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 600 Center Street North, Birmingham, Alabama 35204, with entombment in Elmwood Mausoleum. Dr. Christopher M. Hamlin, Pastor, officiating. Cherishing her memories include: three daughters, Mrs. Claudia Riley of Palmdale, CA, Mrs. Sadie Eva Haynes of Los Angeles, CA and Mrs. Bettie Davis of Birmingham, AL; one adopted son, Mr. Jimmy Beard of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two god children; a host of other relatives and friends.
