Blakely - Mildred Cannon Hobbs Massey, 84, of Blakely, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004. Services held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 3, 2005 at Blakely First Baptist Church; interment at Blakely Cemetery. Survivors include daughters Patricia Pitts of Lydia, SC and Julie Massey Smith of Athens; sons Hal H. Hobbs and Charles Hobbs, both of Blakely, Sam Massey of Athens, Jim Massey of Camp Hill, PA; brother Joe Cannon of Blakely; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home in Blakely has charge of arrangements.
