Michael O'Shea died suddenly on Aug. 29 at his Fellowship Village home in Basking Ridge, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Boonton, N.J., on Tuesday, Sept. 4. A memorial service will also be held at Fellowship Village in the near future. Mr. O'Shea was born in Woonsocket, R.I., and celebrated his 90th birthday on Aug.5. After serving as an Army Airborne instructor during World War II, Michael attended the University of Pennsylvania and earned a degree in business from the Wharton School of Business. He had a successful career in the tire industry, including 50 years as the owner and proprietor of Robbins & Franke, a Cliffside Park, N.J. dealership. He also served as a director of the Hercules Tire Group. Mr. O'Shea married Florence Fronzak in 1947. She died in 2003. He is survived by the four children of their 56-year marriage, Alexandra of Wilmington, N.C.; Michael of Little Falls, N.J.; Lawrence of Albany, N.Y. and Joseph of Little Falls. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and by his second wife, Walteen Horchner, whom he married in 2005.
