WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Michael "Bubby" Horton of Winter Haven died of heart disease Wednesday (June 1, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. He was 52. Born Oct. 9, 1952, in Harrodsburg, Ky., he came here from Wilmore, Ky., 23 years ago. He was a small engine mechanic for Mow and Go, Winter Haven. Mr. Horton is survived by his wife, Ruth Horton; sons, Michael B. Horton, Cocoa Beach, Christopher Lee Horton, Winter Haven; daughters, Emily Michelle Horton, Titusville, Jessica Renee Stevens, Kentucky, Angela K. Smith and Mary Ann Horton, both of Winter Haven; sisters, Linda Fox, Gail Hurt and Allison Horton, all of Kentucky; three grandchildren. Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
