RINGWOOD — Services were held for Michael Alexander, 86, of this community, who died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Born in Russia, Mr. Alexander lived in Jackson Heights, N.Y., before moving to Ringwood 30 years ago. He was a technician for JVC Electronics, Elmwood Park, for 20 years before retiring in 2003. Services were Thursday at the D'Agostino Funeral Home, Haskell, followed by interment at Novo-Viveevo Cemetery, Nanuet, N.Y. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, the former Valentine Stark; his daughter, Elizabeth Khawata of Hilliard, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
