JOHNSON, Mavis Leonora, 75, of Sebring, passed away January 31, 2004, in Sebring. She was born August 8, 1928, to John and Amy Jacques in Guaimaro, Cuba and had been a resident of Sebring since 1996, coming from Miami, Florida. She was a Nurses's Aide, a member of Lake Haven Estates and attended St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring. She is survived by her husband, Alfonso J. Johnson, of Sebring; daughter, Patricia Johnson, Atlanta, Georgia; son, Antonio Johnson, Miami, Florida; sisters, Violetta Farrington, Miami, Florida and Pearl Tucker, Miami, Florida; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Annette Marinia Johnson in 2001. Visitation and Wake Service will be held Sunday, February 8, 2004, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 9, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sebring, Father Jose Gonzalez officiating.
