-> Claxton - Mary Pearl Jackson, 100, passed away February 17, 2005 at Claxton Nursing Home. The Bulloch County native was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Claxton. She retired from Morrison's Cafeteria and later moved to Claxton in 1967. Mary Pearl Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Jackson. Survivors: four nieces: Geraldine Rountree, Lorretta Scott, and Juanita Lewis all of Claxton and Deloris Meehan of Savannah; five nephews, Melvin Barrow of South Carolina, Paul and Ronnie Rountree of Claxton, Billy Rountree of Springfield, and Larry Rountree. Visitation: Friday, February 18, from 6:00-8:00 p.m at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home. Funeral: Saturday, February 19, at 1:00 p.m. at J. Mellie NeSmith Funeral Home chapel with Elder Jimmy Haire officiating. Burial: 3:00 p.m. in Boneventure Cemetery in Savannah. J.
