Mary Nell Kent, 77, Muscle Shoals, died Jan. 24, 2005.Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be the Rev. Barrett Long.Mrs. Kent was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Helen Keller Hospital and the Help Center in Florence.She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman She is survived by two daughters, Shelia and husband, Donny Cooper, of Decatur, and Susan and husband, Kenneth King, of Russellville; two sisters, Doris Hamilton, of Muscle Shoals, and Betty Turbyfill, of Russellville; three grandchildren, Brandy Banks, Ashley Banks and Lauren Banks, all of Russellville.In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to their favorite charity. Colbert Memorial Chapel is directing.
