Funeral for Mary Lou Wynn Long, 71, of Hartselle will be today at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Elder and the Rev. Kathryne Perkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was Saturday night from 6 to 9. Mrs. Long died Friday, June 13, 2003, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born December 17, 1931, to Thomas Barclift Wynn and Clara Ethel Sparkman. She was a member of Oak Ridge Methodist Church. She was an Avon representative for 40 years and retired from Hartselle City Schools Food Service.Survivors include her husband, Medford Long; one daughter, Anena Long Maxwell of Somerville; three grandchildren, Thomas Cooper, Nicole Maxwell, and Brittany Maxwell. Pallbearers will be Alton Johnson, Kyle Kirby, Joe McAbee, Louis Depreast, Jerry Roberson, and Tommy Hardin.
