-> Mary Lee Williams entered her eternal rest on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Hospice Savannah surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Martha Williams and Joe Williams. Ms. Williams was born April 6, 1935 in Chatham County, Georgia, where she was educated in the public schools. She was a member of Clifton Baptist Church where she served as President of the Usher Board until her health failed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Howard and brother, Joseph "Joe Boy" Williams. Loving memories will be cherished by her family; son, Louis Williams of Savannah, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Carrol White of Rincon; a special daughter, Carolyn Rivon of Savannah; daughter-in-law, Willie Mae Williams of Hephzibah, GA; brothers and sisters, Charlotte Baxter, Lizzie Graham, Martha Miller and Nancy (Eddie) Williams of Savannah, Doretha "Liza" Brightman of Newark, New Jersey and William "Buzzy" Williams of Philadelphia, PA; seven grandchil dren, seven great - grandchildren; one special niece, Betty Louise Baxter and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Lucille Sanders of Savannah and Elaine Chisolm, Victoria Exley and Dorothy Goodman of Hardeeville, SC. Family Hour: 6-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Clifton Baptist Church. Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Clifton Baptist Church with Rev. Oddie Luckett, officiating. Ms. Williams will lie in state from 9 a.m. to the hour of service. Burial: Cherokee Hill Cemetery.
