DAYTONA BEACH -- Mary Lee McDonald Smith, 65, of Orange Avenue, a former housekeeper at the Sun Viking Lodge, died Monday at home. Mrs. Smith was born in Rockingham, N.C., and moved here in 1980 from her birthplace. She was a member of Mount Mission Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed word puzzles, reading and sewing. Survivors include her companion, Bentley Cody; a daughter, Anita Smith, Daytona Beach; two brothers, Lacy McDonald, High Point, N.C., and Stacy McDonald, Syracuse, N.Y.; a sister, Barbara McDonald, High Point; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; Gainous is in charge.
