LAMB Mary (Van Dommelen), age 98, of the Radburn section of Fair Lawn, passed away peacefully in her home on February 9, 2011 surrounded by family. One of eight siblings, she was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Peter and Henders Van Dommelen. Mary is a 1932 graduate of Mt. Ida College in MA where she received a degree in homemaking. She later married the love of her life in 1942, the late John D. Lamb, and was married for 47 years. They started their family in Arlington VA and soon moved to Fair Lawn. Mary was a homemaker who loved her 5pm scotch, crossword puzzles, reading, sewing and spending time with her family. Later in life, Mary was proud to be a lunchroom recess aide at the Radburn School and was a world traveler well into her 90's. She was predeceased by her grandson John Bottiglieri and all but one of her siblings. She was the treasured mother to Susan Hammann and her husband Walter (Glen Rock), and Linda Bottiglieri and her husband Albert (Ganesvoort, NY). She was the adored grandmother of Julie Hattersley and her husband Patrick (Fair Lawn), Douglas Hammann and his girlfriend Karen Alberque (Hackensack), Amy Halsey and her husband Jason (Denver, NC) and David Bottiglieri (Ganesvoort, NY). Cherished great-grandmother to Jack Hattersley and Brayden Hammann. Beloved sister to Louise Van Dommelen (Brea, CA). Cremation with a private burial and memorial service at a later date.
