Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010, in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary Kelley Williams, 90, of Gainesville. The Rev. Vaughn Howington will officiate. Interment will be in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6, 2010, and on Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.Born in Memphis, Tenn., she had lived most of her life in DeKalb County and had lived in Gainesville for 10 years. She worked as a crossing guard with the City of Atlanta Public Schools for a number of years which she retired from and she also worked at Zayre's Dept store for a number of years.Mrs. William's is survived by her son, Charles Williams of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Carl Valentine of Maysville, Patsy and Cline May of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Nancy and Fred Daniel of Alabaster, Ala.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Ann Kelley of Montgomery, Ala., and Floyd and Myrtice Kelley of Birmingham, Ala.Those wishing to send online condolences may do so at www.littledavenport.com.Little & Davenport Funeral Home, 355 Dawsonville Highway, Gainesville is in charge of arrangements.
