Mary Julia Robinson Maglio Whaley - BAXLEY- Mary Julia Robinson Maglio Whaley, 91, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Mrs. Whaley was born July 22, 1918 to a Baptist Minister Robert Lee Robinson and Julia Maddox Robinson. She graduated from Brewton Parker College and Tift College. She was preceded in death by husbands, Steve Maglio and Hudson Whaley. Survivors: nieces, Julia McRae of Montgomery, Al and Sue Johnson of Decatur; nephews, John Robert Johnson of Atlanta and Roy Johnson of Morristown, TN; great nieces, Beth Bell of Vidalia, Susan Peterson of Albany, Leanne Bond of Prattville, AL, Julie McRae of Montgomery, AL, Currie Bucher of Austin, TX; great nephew, Jay McRae of Vernon Hills, IL, several great, great great and great, great, great nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Swain Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held: Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home.
