Mary Jane Rogers, age 90, Sheffield, Ala., died Aug. 4, 2003, at Shoals Hospital of a heart attack.Visitation was Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Morrison Funeral Home chapel, Tuscumbia, Ala. Funeral services were Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Morrison, with burial at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.Officiating was Michael Hand.She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Rogers, companion, Marshall Wooten, her parents, Andrew and Lizzie Balentine Victory; her brothers, Idomer, Cecil, Lester, Nelson Victory; and her sisters, Belle Moomaw and Jessie Reaves.She is survived by one sister, Grace McGhee and her husband, Ebb; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Nora Victory. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers were Joshua Victory, Marshall Wade, Paul Laudenslager, Brad Ragan, Jonathon Dodge, Mac McKellips, Lester Hooper and Johnny Vickery.Her family wishes to thank her dear friends, Helen, JoAnne and Vickie, and all her friends at Sheffield Senior Citizens.Morrison Funeral Home directed.
