LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Mary S. Hicks of Lake Wales died of heart failure Saturday (Oct. 11, 2003) at Lake Wales Medical Center Extended Care Facility. She was 77.Born Oct. 24, 1925, in Alabama, she came here from Alabama in 1942. She was a retired line operator for Citrus World.Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Olsie Hicks; daughter, Judy Beers, Venice; son, Joe Hornsby, Eustis; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home. Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
