ObituaryMary E. Lee, 84, of Lehigh Acres, passed on October 2, 2006 at Hope Hospice. She was born in Danvers, MA, the daughter of the late John and Mary Meagher.Mary graduated from St. Johns High School and attended Regis College and Law School in Massachusetts before joining the Navy during World War II. During that period she worked at the Pentagon and as an Air Traffic Controller at the Corpus Christi Air Base. She retired as Postmaster in Middleton, MA before moving to Lehigh Acres, FL.She was a member of Navy Calusa Waves where she enjoyed serving as Chaplain. She lived her life with faith, hope and charity and will be missed beyond measure by those who were lucky enough to know and love her.She is survived by three sons and three daughters, Joseph Lee, John E. Lee, Mary Ellen Readine, Donald J. Lee, Lorraine E. Lee, and Loretta Ronneborg, 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Research Foundation.
