Mary Corrigan Moriarty of Tarrytown, age 61, died April 26, 2005 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, of complications from leukemia. A registered nurse, Mary received her training at Bellvue School of Nursing NYC and earned her degree, suma cum laude, at Marymount College, Tarrytown. She worked at various hospitals throughout the region and retired from the New York City Department of Health as a public health nurse. Mary was born May 7, 1943 in the Bronx, to James and Catherine Sweeney Corrigan. She is survived by her husband Thomas Daniel Moriarty, a retired aircraft inspector with Pan Am & Delta Airlines. She is also survived by her children: Christopher, a career man in the United States Navy, stationed at Whidby Island, WA; Catherine, a physical therapist and reservist with the United States Air Force, and Teresa a high school English teacher with the NYC Department of Education. She was blessed to have spent time with her two cherished granddaughters Eve Marie Moeller (Catherine) and Elise Mary Wollemborg (Teresa). She is also survived by her mother, Catherine, of Tarrytown; her brother, Patrick Corrigan, of Shamong, NJ; her sisters Elizabeth Corrigan of Tarrytown and Anne Connell of Albany. Mary was a beautiful person who showed kindness to all, loved life, was very spiritual, and had a great sense of humor coupled with a contagious laugh. She was deeply loved and will be missed by all. Visitation at Dwyer Funeral Home, Tarrytown on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass on Friday 10 AM at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown.
