Mary "Pearl" Berg, 77, of 21 Anniston Way Greenville, S.C., loving wife of Rev. Warren O. Berg for 56 years, died November 30, 2009 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.Mrs. Berg was born in Collinwood, Tenn. and was the daughter of the late George W. and Sally E. Sherrill Hall. Mrs. Berg was a housewife, lifetime Sunday School teacher, and a member of Buncombe Road Baptist Church.Surviving with her husband are her sons: Jeff Berg (Janet), Victor Berg (Lynn), and Matt Berg (Carolyn); brother: Jess Hall (Phyllis); sister: Mearl Swims; five granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held Friday at 4 p.m. at Buncombe Road Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Coakley officiating. Burial will be private.Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. before the service at the church.The family will be at 21 Anniston Way, Greenville, SC 29617.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buncombe Rd.
