GOODWIN, MARY ANN, 72, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East. Born in Louisville and raised on the Oxmoor Farm, Mary Ann was a graduate of Eastern High School and Spalding University. She was an executive secretary for Phillip Morris, Brown Forman and was retired from Humana. She modeled in the early 70s for the John Robert Power Agency in St. Louis, and was the Oertel's girl in the 60s. She was an avid volunteer at Everyone Reads, and at her parish, the Cathedral of the Assumption. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John "Herm" Goodwin; children, Lisa Gay (Jim Slusher), Tracy Goodwin (Kate Howard) and Jeff Goodwin; and siblings, Larry, Ronald, Deborah and David Lotze. Mary Ann's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at her church, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. A bereavement luncheon will be held at the Cathedral immediately following burial.
