November 6, 2006 Mary Alice Baker, 85, of Syracuse, went home to be with the Lord, Monday at Crouse Hospital, surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Sue, Theresa, Cherise and Renel Baker of Syracuse and Sabrina Baker of Buffalo, NY; one son, Rodney Baker of Syracuse; three sisters, Mozell Reed, Mayzell Harris and Mary Rose Dorsey all of Syracuse; one brother, W. Spencer Dorsey (Essie) of Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one aunt, Ella Mae Cobb of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be Thursday 12 noon with calling hours from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Pentecost Evangelical Baptist Church, 1650 S. State St. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Garland Bros.
