Adams, Mary (Kirby) ALBANY Mary Kirby Adams, 81, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Clancy Kirby. Mary worked for 40 years for City of Albany Traffic Court. Mary enjoyed her work, her faith, and her Irish heritage, but her family will always remember they were her dearest joys in life. She was the beloved mother of Maribeth Adams Dillon (Michael); cherished grandmother of Thomas "T.J." Dillon and Daniel Dillon; sister of the late Elizabeth Hauprich, John Kirby, James Kirby and William Kirby; many nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9:00 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday, January 17, 2012 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. Those wishing to remember Mary in a special way may send a contribution to Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, 1270 Belmont Ave., Schenectady, NY 12308.
