Mary A. Williams, 78, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Monday, July 31, 2007, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was a 1947 graduate of Central High School and married Frank E. Williams on February 3, 1949, in Lebanon, Mo. Mary was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She was a homemaker for her husband and children, Alan and Diane. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Claude Barber; mother, Ruby Thomas; step-father, Gilbert Thomas; and son, Alan Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Diane and husband, Tim Flowers; two grandsons, Brad Flowers and Shawn Flowers; brother, Gary Thomas; two sisters and their husbands, Dorothy and Burney Choate and June and Gary Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2007, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, August 1, 2007, in the funeral home.
