Martha Sanborn, 88     GORHAM -- Martha Sanborn, 88, of Fort Hill Road, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at St. Joseph Manor.      She was born on Aug. 19, 1918, a daughter of Delmor and Eleanor Johnson Sanborn.      Martha was a graduate of Gorham Normal School and taught at Forest Street School in Westbrook for 25 years, retiring in 1980 and then traveled extensively.      She was a life member of the 1918 Club, the Sanborn Family Association, the Gorham Historical Society, the Order of the Eastern Star, 4H, Gorham High School Alumni, Cumberland County Retired Teachers Association, and the North Street United Methodist Church.      Survivors include one sister, Eleanor Jackson of Gorham; a nephew, Roger C. Jackson and his wife Catherine of Gorham, and their children, Maxwell C. Jackson, Samantha C. Jackson Grimard and her husband Brent all of Gorham.      An hour of visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at the Dolby & Dorr Funeral Chapel, 76 State Street, Gorham from 1-2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the chapel.
