Obituary of Martha-J. Williams


WILLIAMS, Martha J., was born Feb-ruary 5, 1921 in Montgomery Coun-ty, Alabama to the late Edna Jack-son and Jim Williams. At an early age, she joined Hutchinson Street Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Dr. H.H. Johnson. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother. She departed this life on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 11:00 am from E. G. Cummings Memorial Fu-neral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. G.W.C. Richardson Jr., officiating. Interment will be held at Eastwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery with E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Cherishing loving memories of her are her children: Samuel (Kathy) Jackson of Mont-gomery, Mary E. (Lee) Bowman of Englewood, NJ., Annette Jackson and Alfred J. Dinkins both of Mont-gomery, Michael Williams of Albert-ville, AL., Diane A. Williams of De-troit, MI., and Reginald J. Williams of Montgomery; two sisters, Antoria W. Caldwell and Mary Hardy both of Montgomery; one brother, Charles Williams of Montgomery; one sister-in-law, Ann Williams of Daphne, AL., a host of grandchil-dren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
