ObituaryMarilyn Sue Morgan, 73, formerly of Kokomo, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday November 30, 2004 at 11:30 p.m., after losing a long battle with colon cancer. She was born on May 26, 1931 in Kokomo to Madeline and Parvy Miller. On June 19, 1948, she married Lloyd R. Morgan. They had been married for 56 years.She retired from Delco Electronics in 1986, after working 33 years. She worked seasonal jobs after moving to the Fort Myers, Florida area. She was a member of the Eastern Star #89, Maha Shrine, Women of the Moose #1020, and The American Business Women's Association. She enjoyed friends of her church and also enjoyed the meetings with the Red Hat Lady's Society. She was very fortunate to have kind and loving neighbors every place she lived and cared deeply for them. She is survived by loving husband Lloyd Morgan, three sons; Lloyd (Jim) and wife Kathy Morgan, of Kokomo, William (Bill) and wife Diana Morgan, of Kokomo, Robert (Bob) Morgan of Fort Myers, FL, and a daughter Judy Fretwell and husband Greg of Fort Myers, FL. Two granddaughters, Jennifer Phillips and husband Mark of Kokomo, and Angie Foote and husband David of West Palm Beach. Two grandsons, Matt and wife Amy Morgan, and Jason and wife Kelly Morgan, both of Kokomo. Two great-grandsons and seven great-granddaughters. Also surviving is a half-sister, Van Smith of Tucson, AZ, as well as several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Betty Dale of Kokomo, and a half-sister, Jane Trinkle of Paoli, IN. The family would like to give a special "Thank you" to all of the staff at the Hope Hospice Organization in Fort Myers, FL, for all the kindness, help, and love they gave to them in their time of need.Marilyn will be returning to Kokomo for her final resting place. A memorial service is to be held in Fort Myers, FL at a later date. Services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Saturday December 4, 2004 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN. Mark Malin will conduct the service.
