LEMIEUX, Marguerite (nee D'Aoust) Peacefully, in Ottawa, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the age of 84. Daughter of the late Anatole D'Aoust and the late Adele Bruyere. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Lemieux (died July 24, 1970). Loving mother of Paulette (Claude Major), Richard (Linda), Donald (Roxane Lamothe) of Ottawa and Michel (Emma) of Montreal. Fond grandmother of Aimee, Chantal, Nya, Marie-Adele, Joel (Jesseye Lu), Zachary, Gabriel, Sara Chloe Lemieux and Danielle Major (Olivier Gerestein) and great-grandmother of Parker and Sloane. Dear sister of Raymond and Paul of Pembroke and Marcel and Ferne of Ottawa. She also leaves behind her D'Aoust and Lemieux brothers and sisters-in-law, many nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Gerald. Family and friends may call at Racine, Robert & Gauthier 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa 613-241-3680 on Friday December 19th from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 20th, 2008 at 11 a.m in the Chapel of the funeral home. Inurnment at St.John's Cemetery, Enniskerry in the spring. In memory of Mrs. Lemieux, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
