HomemakerLAKELAND -- Mrs. Marguerite Prescott Davis of Lakeland died of lung failure Monday (Oct. 3, 2005) at Wedgewood Healthcare. She was 92.Born in Hopkins, Ga., on Oct. 17, 1912, she came to Lakeland from Georgia more than 60 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Lakeland Revival Center Church.Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Elbridge Davis. She is survived by her son, Ray Lee Johnson, Lakeland; daughters, Betty J. Turley, Ernestine Tuggle, Mary Ellen Napier, all of Lakeland; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Heath Funeral Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel.
