HooperMargaret Louise Hooper, age 75 of Ashland City, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Ashland City Tri Star Centennial Medical Center. Margaret was born on March 26, 1939 in Ashland City to parents, Lawrence and Ruby (Harris) Binkley. She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Tony and Terry Hooper; daughter, Tina Hooper and brother, Lawrence Binkley, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Lewis Hooper; sons, Eric Hooper and Michael Hooper (Mickey); daughter, Teresa Mitchell (Ricky); sister, Fay Hardesty (Jim); four grandchildren, Jason Hooper, Alyssa Pruitt, Dustin Pruitt (Danielle) and Carla Hooper, and one great-grandchild, Austin Pruitt. Visitation for Margaret Hooper was held at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 3-7:30 p.m., and on Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. We left the funeral home at noon and proceeded on to the Greenbrier Church of Christ Cemetery on Hwy. 49 in Ashland City, for a 12:30 graveside service, with Bro. Drake Jenkins officiating. The family has requested donations in honor of Margaret be made to the Greenbrier Cemetery.
