Jennings, Margaret SCHODACK Margaret (Catalfamo) Jennings passed away Tuesday, May 15 2007 peacefully in her sleep after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Albany July 5 1931 to the late Maddalena and Joseph Catalfamo, she was employed as an administrative assistant for the NYS Department of Parks and Recreation and retired after 20 years of service. Marge and Bob enjoyed traveling, gardening, long walks and entertaining family and friends. She was always ready to extend a helping hand. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co. and to the many relatives and friends for their love and support during this difficult time. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Leo Catalfamo. Margaret is survived by her husband of 13 years, Robert Jennings; sisters, Mary (Richard) Evans of Nassau, Anna (Joseph) Paolucci of Albany, Rose (Leonard) Osborne of Rensselaer; sister-in-law, Frances Catalfamo of Schodack; 14 nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Bruce (Marge) Jennings of Claverack, David (Sharon) Jennings of Germantown, Debra (Patrick) Shortell of Lebanon, Mo.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; special longtime friend, Lois Kasparian of Houston, Texas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday 9:15 from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk. and 10:00 at Sacred Heart Church, Castleton where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 in the funeral home.
