ROY, Lorne - (Proud Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Victoria Harbour Branch No. 523) Peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2015 in his 68th year at the Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga. Husband to Diane (nee Cote), father to Andrew and Malcolm and wife Geraldine, brother to Janice and husband Buddy, uncle to Jeffrey, Etienne, Christian and others, brother-in-law to Rachelle Cote and Andre and others and grandfather to Gerard, Emily, Alexander and Audrey. Lorne was also a beloved brother-in-law and uncle to many family members from Quebec. He will be missed for his unique sense of humour and calm and friendly demeanour. Thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Cardiac Care Unit at Trillium for their care of Lorne and the family during his final days. We are also thankful for the outpouring of support and sympathies from friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be held in Lorne''s honour at the Royal Canadian Legion, Victoria Harbour Branch No. 523 located at 134 William St., Victoria Harbour, ON, 705-534-4003, on October 24, 2015 from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.
