Lois Jennings Williams, formerly of Lanett, Ala., died Thursday, February 15, 2001. Born in Lanett, she was a daughter of the late Ruben W. and Sarah Frances Jennings, and the widow of Frank B. Williams Sr. Mrs. Williams lived in Greenville for six years and was a former resident of Fairfax, Ala., and West Point, Ga., where she was a member of West Point First United Methodist Church. She had devoted her life to her family, her church, her community and her many friends. Surviving are her daughter, Jane Williams Coleman of Greenville; a son, Frank B. Williams Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Point First United Methodist Church, 306 E. Seventh St., West Point, Ga, 31833. Visitation with the family will be held at 1 p.m. today at McCarthy Funeral Home, West Point, Ga. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point.
