Linda Grubbs Painter Jackson, 61, of 197 Clearview Circle, died Dec. 22, 2005, at Allen Bennett Hospital.A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Thomas and Edna Vaughn Grubbs, she was a homemaker and attended Cashville Church of God of Prophecy. Her first husband was the late Robert L. Painter.Surviving are her husband, Maurice (Bud) Jackson of the home; two daughters, Kelly Plumley of Taylors and Cindy Loftis of Greer; a stepson, Dean Jackson of Piedmont; a sister, Mellie Brown of Greer; and 10 grandchildren.Mrs. Jackson was predeceased by a stepson, Joel Jackson; six brothers; and seven sisters.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Floyd Smith Jr. and Rev. Jerry Madden. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Larry Loftis, Jonathan Loftis, Dean Jackson, Van Plumley, Turner Plumley and Braden Plumley.Visitation will be held from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. today at the Wood Mortuary.The family is at the home of her daughter, Kelly Plumley, 5741 Mt. View Road, Taylors.
