MARTINEZ - Mrs. Lillian Davis Alexander, 64, beloved wife of George H. Alexander entered into rest on Monday, April 9, 2012, in University Hospital in Augusta.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chap. Alan Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.Lillian was born in Ludowici on Feb. 23, 1948, to James and Martha Davis. Lillian received a degree in nursing and was employed by University Hospital for 37 years.In addition to her husband, Lillian is survived by her brothers, James "Jim" Marion Davis and Donald "Donny" Lamar Davis; her sisters, Linda Davis Gordon (Charles), Debbie Davis Abrahamson (Jeff) and Lesa Davis Creech (Tom); and by 11 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.Lillian loved life, nature and never met a stranger. She gave her life to others.Honorary pallbearers will be Edna Anderson, Bertha Draidfort, Elizabeth Mills, Georgeann Nelson, Linda Pack, Jeannie Smith, Susan Smith and Kathy Varner.If so desired, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Walthourville Presbyterian Church, P.O.
