Obituary of Leona-Edith Bradley

Leona Edith Bradley December 03, 1919 - November 29, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Atlantic Funeral Home (Dartmouth) BRADLEY, Leona Edith - On Monday, November 29, 2004, in Ocean View Manor, Leona died peacefully in her sleep, four days before her 85th birthday. Leona's battle is over. She struggled many years with chronic depression and life was not easy for her. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, William; companion, Jack; precious son, Philip. Leona is survived by 10 sons and daughters, and many grandchildren. Feeling blessed to have shared the latter part of her life is her extended family and caregivers, Edna, Gordon, Ethel, Greg. She was a funny and feisty lady who loved to dance, sing and play her harmonica. One of her greatest joys was to walk in the Public Gardens talking with her friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Private interment will be held in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration in Ocean View Manor Chapel, 1909 Caldwell Rd., Eastern Passage to be held 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. Philip Taylor officiating. A very special thank you to the staff of 3rd floor Ocean View Manor for their dedicated care over the past three years. God bless you
