February 9, 2005 Leo W. Fisher, 85, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday at Veterans Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and was a life resident of Syracuse. Leo retired from Netti Beverage in 1985; he was a veteran of WWII U.S. Army, Korean War and was a communicant of St. Peter's Church. He enjoyed playing hockey and fishing. Predeceased by his wife, Mary Fisher who died June 27, 1999. Survivors: His daughter, Mary Lee (Frank) Giocondo of Liverpool; grandchildren, Kim Ostrander of N. Syracuse, John Giocondo of Liverpool, Frank Giocondo of N. Syracuse, Leo (Kim) Giocondo of S. Carolina; 11 great-grandchildren, Geoffrey, Gianna, Brandon, Brent, Alchemey, Karissa, Jordan, Hailey, Evan, Ian, and Noah; brother, Walter Fisher of Monroe, MI; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Monday 9:15 a.m at FARONE & SON and 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2 to 5 p.m at the funeral home.
