ANDERSON, LEE OWEN 82 passed to his eternal home on December 17, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eunice and Robert Lee Anderson, sister, Cleora Thompson and nephew, Walter (Buddy) Bowman. He was of the Baptist Faith, he graduated from Minor High School in 1948 and served during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Navy. He is survived by four brothers, Chester (Margaret), James (Gaynell), Wayne (Brenda), Clyde (Sheila); two sisters, Betty Joyce Bowman and Lettie Jo Oswald; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with a Graveside following at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Research at UAB would be appreciated. >
